As some of you may remember, I’m a big fan of WellBeing Brewing.
I wrote about their original two non-alcoholic releases last year and our house has been a big supporter ever since.
My husband (who isn’t someone who identifies as sober) loves beer, but since my ask is that we don’t have alcohol at home, WellBeing Brewing options are the perfect compromise.
That’s why we were both super excited when WellBeing announced that they had a new stout available, Intrepid Traveler Coffee Cream Stout.

Pretty much all of my favorite flavors are inside this lovely little can….dark roasted Mississippi Mud coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove…MMMMMM.
WellBeing bills it as part cold brew coffee and part classic stout with the alcohol out! I deeply appreciate that WellBeing creates its beverages specifically for non drinkers.
Over the past few years I’ve been seeing bigger alcohol companies jumping on the N/A bandwagon, and while I’m grateful that the market has more and more to offer those of us who don’t drink, what makes WellBeing different is that this has been their mission from the start. The non-alcoholic offerings they have aren’t a subset of larger alcohol driven product, they were founded with non-drinkers in mind.
Late last year on their blog they shared a great interview with their founder, Jeff Stevens, about his passion for creating non-alcoholic craft beer.

So…onto my review of the Intrepid Traveler Coffee Cream Stout.
We wanted to enjoy these on a night when we had a reason to be out late and with a 14 month old at home, it honestly doesn’t happen as much as it used to.
Cut to a recent Friday night when my brother texted my husband and I last minute asking if we’d want to join him for a new Vegas show, Fuerza Bruta at Excalibur.
Five years ago pre-gaming before an event like this looked like a couple shots of bourbon and chugging a beer or two. And usually feeling pretty terrible by the time we arrived wherever we were headed for a date night.
Nowadays it includes being able to secure baby sitting (thanks mom!), getting dinner ready, getting our daughter set up for bed, and driving across town to the Strip. And no drinking.
However, having a treat at home with dinner is nice.
And the combined power of great flavor with a coffee kick of the WellBeing Intrepid Traveler Coffee Cream Stout was the perfect addition to our adult sober pre-game.

The flavor is robust and layered–you can definitely taste the spices and the coffee flavor is present, but not overwhelming. On top of all that, it still tasted like a stout (with the alcohol removed of course).
This spicy, caffeinated N/A beer is truly the perfect sober friendly option before a night out on the town and I know that we’ll be adding this to our regular rotation of at-home offerings for special occasions.
Great gif!! Wish I could find this stuff locally.

This stuff looks amazing! Thanks for sharing. While I love making mocktails and enjoying a La Croix or two, this looks like a refreshing step away from sweet beverages. Love your pics too!!
