Year one, done!

My husband and I celebrated our daughter’s first birthday recently and it felt like such a huge accomplishment.

The past 12 months have been incredible, exhausting, enlightening, overwhelming, and totally worth it.

I wanted to create something to mark the milestone, so for the past few months I’ve been putting together something I’m calling “The New Parent Deck.”

It’s a professionally printed set of 10 tarot sized (4″x6″) art cards with reminder phrases for those long, beautiful first few months with a new kiddo.

These are the phrases I kept channeling for strength on sleepless nights, during afternoon walks, and during my postpartum depression.

The artwork I created are colors and images of encouragement, comfort, and compassion.
